Lume do Loop is a hip hop trio from Santiago de Compostela made up of Jamas, M酶u, and DJ Mil鈥攖hree leading figures in Galicia's hip hop scene with more than two decades of experience. The project brings together two founding members of Dios Ke Te Crew and the turntable mastery of DJ Mil, resulting in a distinctive sound that blends rap, music production, and turntablism.
The name Lume do Loop ("Fire of the Loop") captures the group's essence: lume (fire) represents creative drive and transformative energy, while the loop symbolizes the continuous cycle of learning, resilience, and evolution that lies at the heart of hip hop culture.
In 2026, they released their debut album, (Re)existencia (Re)Existence), a conceptual record that explores identity, resilience, and the ability to reinvent oneself. Through their music, they champion artistic creation as a tool for critical thinking, social transformation, and collective celebration, forging a project that connects the legacy of Galician hip hop with a contemporary perspective.
