The Catalan artist Anna Taratiel has gifted us this new piece located in the Piñeiro neighborhood of Ordes. A colorful work, inspired by the chromatic ranges of the surrounding nature and by the forms of the traditional and modern architecture that supports and surrounds it.

Shades of green, earth, cream, and tile combine to shape a dynamic structure that takes us from the inside to the outside and draws us into a compositional play between pattern and variation. The images collected from the different rhythms and motifs of the rooftops, balconies, chimneys, walls, or windows of this old neighborhood have been combined to give shape to this abstract and geometric composition.

Through color planes, straight lines, uniform inks, and subtle color gradients, Anna gently guides us into a map without boundaries between the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional, a work that positions itself swaying on the wall like a sculpture of the building’s own structure.
