IVÁN FLORO (VAN VUÚ)

Ivan Floro (born 1993), born in Mataró and based in Barcelona, is a visual artist and muralist who has stood out in the art scene from a young age. From childhood, he immersed himself in the world of graffiti, developing his drawing skills and starting to paint daily in abandoned places. He chose not to pursue traditional art training and, in 2014, began working with oil paints, learning by observing the works of great masters.

His works, close to impressionism, blend seriousness and irony to reflect childhood memories and images of the present, with references to counterculture and his belonging to the 90s generation.

His art is versatile and fresh, and his murals can be found in Spain, the United States, Italy, and Egypt. Among his recent projects are exhibitions such as "Flamenco os Leones" in Madrid, "Eros o teu corpo como escusa" at MEAM in Barcelona, and collaborations for album covers of renowned musicians like C. Tangana and Alejandro Sanz.
